West Marin, our beautiful slice of the planet, inspires us all in many different ways. Some of the results of that inspiration can be viewed and purchased over Labor Day weekend at West Marin Wild, EAC’s biennial art show and primary fundraiser. The event is being held at the historic Red Barn at the entrance to the Bear Valley Visitor Center of the Point Reyes National Seashore from September 4-7. We look forward to seeing you all on Labor Day Weekend, beginning with the Friday night opening (make your reservations asap). Come raise a toast with us to the preservation of our natural habitats and take a piece of West Marin beauty home with you. Meanwhile, browse a sampling of the art below. More information

| West Marin Wild! Seasoned visitors to West Marin Wild have learned that not only is it the ideal venue for purchasing special gifts, but if you bring a loved one along there are many available techniques for dropping hints about your own personal favorites. Of course there is only one way to make sure these favorites will not be sold out from under you, and that is to be the first to arrive at the Preview Party on September 4, 5 – 8PM. The second challenge is not to be distracted from your mission by the beautiful spread that Pam Ferrari is masterminding, featuring organic foods produced by the local farming community and a wide selection of wines chosen by our connoisseurs. Reservations are a must for this event. Members can purchase tickets at the discounted price of $50 by calling 663-9314. In addition to the ten people who form the West Marin Wild Planning Committee, a terrific group of EAC volunteers help out on show days. Their infectious enthusiasm and obvious appreciation of the quality of the exhibit create a relaxed atmosphere, drawing people back for a second or third visit over the course of the 3- day show. We would like to thank our business sponsors, Horizon Cable, The Cabaline, Rodoni Construction, Coastal Marin Real Estate, Bank of Petaluma, Good Earth Natural Foods and the Old Point Reyes Schoolhouse Bed & Breakfast, who have helped to defray expenses with generous cash contributions. If your employer or businesses that you frequent have missed out on this opportunity to support our local community, please encourage them to contact us. We look forward to seeing you all on Labor Day Weekend, beginning with the Friday night opening (make your reservations asap). Come raise a toast with us to the preservation of our natural habitats and take a piece of West Marin beauty home with you.
