Join us for our fall cleanup!
Groups can register as a team up to clean up crew
Group Registration
September 18th-23th, 2023
Each year local businesses, clubs, village associations, and nonprofits organize Team Up to Clean Up Crews where they adopt a roadway, beach, or creek in West Marin to clean up before the winter rains and after the busy tourist summer season.
Crew teams are organized by a team leader who will coordinate with EAC on their locations, gather their team’s volunteers, report their estimated trash weights, and submit photos. Crews pick up trash on their own time from September 18th-22nd. Some supplies may be available to assist crews.
Litter Bugs Me was founded over 20 years ago by West Marin residents, Rigdon Currie and Dennis Rodoni (currently our District Four Marin County Supervisor) before the event was handed off to EAC in 2009.
Coastal Cleanup Day with EAC
Individual Registration
September 23th, 2023
Coastal Cleanup Day kicks off on the last day of Litter Bugs Me!
Individuals (EAC members and non-members) are encouraged to register for EAC’s clean-up team for Saturday, September 23rd, to clean up various places around Point Reyes Station, the Giacomini Wetlands, Platform Bridge Road, and Millerton Beach.
Volunteers will be provided with supplies (safety vests, reusable bags, buckets, grabbers, gloves), but you may alternatively bring your favorite working gloves and other supplies. We recommend wearing a sunhat, sunscreen, layered clothing that can get dirty, and closed toed-shoes.
