2024 Winter Gathering Recap & Save the Date
Our team had a wonderful time connecting with our community of supporters at our first Winter Gathering since 2019. This year, we brought the event back to The Lodge at Marconi’s Buck Hall, offering breathtaking views of Tomales Bay on Saturday, December 9th—a location deeply tied to the impact of our water advocacy efforts.
The gathering was a celebration of our grassroots advocacy and the incredible individuals who contribute to its success. Attendees enjoyed a delightful array of seasonal drinks, appetizers, and live local music courtesy of Desi & The Mish.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event truly special including our inkind donors and volunteers listed below the slideshow.
This zero-waste event aligns with Marin County’s Reusable Foodware Ordinance, SB1383 Law, and the Cleaner California Coast Initiative, where we practice using reusables including utensils, cups, and plates, composting all organic material, and prioritizing recyclables.
We invite you to continue to practice with us into the new year. Grab your reusable bamboo utensils at our Advocate store in downtown Point Reyes Station for just $14. Members receive 10% off, and new members at the $50 level receive a set of utensils for free when purchasing in the office. A great stocking stuffer for a loved one, or to add to your hiking backpack.
Anticipating the future, we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming event: the 15th anniversary of the Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival scheduled for April 19th-21st, 2024. Tickets are on sale in February. Get early bird registration and waived registration fees by joining our member circle, or renewing your support today! Learn more by clicking our link above.
